Scope
Full kitchen design, lacquered cabinetry, marble specification, appliance curation, installation
The brief arrived as a single word: resolved. Dark charcoal lacquer cabinets, a continuous slab of book-matched marble, and unlacquered brass fixtures left to acquire their patina in time. The kitchen reads as complete from every angle — nothing waiting to be added, nothing wishing to be removed.
The cabinetry sits on a plinth rather than conventional legs, giving the units the appearance of furniture rather than fitted joinery. Pendant lighting was custom-specified with a brass foundry in New York; the shade profile echoes the curve of the island edge. Professional-grade appliances are fully integrated — their presence felt, not seen.
