The Craft
Built to the room, not to a catalogue.
A cabinet is only as good as the way it meets the wall. We measure every commission on site before we cut a single panel, and we build to the room — scribing to floors and ceilings that have settled over decades, accounting for the quirks of pre-war Queens apartments and the tolerances of new construction alike. Nothing is off-the-shelf; everything is made for you.
Internally, our cabinets are built to be repaired rather than replaced. Solid oak or walnut internals, dovetailed drawer boxes, squared and checked against the drawings, and hardware rated for a lifetime of daily use. Externally, the finish is hand-applied — painted, oiled, or lacquered — in the workshop where it can be judged in honest light, and refined until it is right.
The result is cabinetry that signals the maker: tight shadow gaps, grain matched across facing panels, hardware that ages with the room, and a fit that looks as though the cabinet grew there.
