Scope
Kitchen design, painted cabinetry, stone, copper hardware programme, installation
Deep navy cabinetry paired with a herringbone marble splashback and a bespoke copper hardware programme — a kitchen that commits fully to its palette and earns it. Every surface was considered in relation to the others, achieving a coherence that prevents the strong colour from dominating the room.
The copper hardware was hand-beaten by a metalworker in County Antrim, each piece finished individually. The navy paint required nine passes over a primer-sealed MDF carcass to reach the depth of colour the client had in mind. Marble was selected at the quarry in Portugal, chosen for the particular warmth of its grey veining against the blue ground.
