Scope
Kitchen design, two-tone painted cabinetry, stone island, appliance integration, installation
The clients wanted a modern kitchen that did not feel cold. Warm cream upper cabinets and rich dark espresso lower units create a palette drawn from the coffee bar they had visited every morning in Milan for twenty years — precise, warm, and entirely without compromise. The stone worktop sits between the two tones like the crema on a well-pulled shot.
The cream was formulated by a studio in Florence — a warm white with a hint of yellow ochre that shifts between ivory and parchment depending on the light. The espresso lower units are painted in a deep brown-black that reads as almost black in shadow but reveals its warmth in direct light. The island top is a honed travertine: the third tone in a three-note palette.
